Well I certainly am on fire with the drawings. I actually finished this one a couple of weeks ago but only got round to scanning it now. And am I getting the hang of this scanner? No. It's slightly better but I just wish there was some way of getting an EXACT digital replica. Obviously my budget just doesn't stretch that far.
Anyway watched Funny Face, either before or while I was doing this I can't quite remember. Not as good as Breakfast at Tiffany's but this is one of the promotional shots for that movie.
All the standard stuff - A4 smooth drawing paper and my trusty HB mechanical pencil. I wanted to do this particular drawing because I noticed how Audrey's face was very shaded - and also because this is one of my favourite pictures of her, she looks so demure and so Audrey. However as you can see I didn't really shade the face much, I don't know I just think it looks better this way. Really proud of the hair again - she has the best hair to draw. Also really proud of the jumper not as much of a challenge as I original anticipated.
